It's like they knew what they were talking about when naming the park. Such a spectacular viewpoint. This is one of my favorite sunset views from near Sunset Point Park. 

I love any opportunity to contrast a cold winter sunset with a warm sky, like I managed to get here. We have the lights on at the ski hill but they're not strong enough to be as bright as the sun is - skimming across the cloud bottoms over the escarpment.
